Whislers Campground, Jasper National
Park, Alberta, Canada
Another driving day. It isn't far from
Lake Louise to this campground just outside Jasper. (It's so close,
we had the sounds of a rodeo PA for a while). It's only about a 2 ½
hour drive, so I took my time leaving this morning.
I stopped at the Icefield center and
watched a short movie, but left without eating lunch because it was
so crowded. There were long lines out the doors of both restaurants.
Also, the idea of a $14 burger didn't appeal to me.
The drive was pretty, even if it was
hazy because of the smoke:
I got here and it turns out I'm in the
same loop I was in 5 years ago on the Alaska trip.
Tomorrow is another chores day –
laundry.
