Devil Creek Campground, Flathead
National Forest, Montana
Today I drove over the entire Going to
the Sun Road, starting from the west side.
I started at MacDonald Lake:
It's hazy all over the park. I was
told it's from the fires in California.
More waterfalls were seen:
But no wildlife. The roads are so busy
– almost every turnout is filled with cars, every parking lot has
cars circling waiting for a spot to open, all the trailheads are
filled to capacity. The wildlife is staying away from the roads.
I'm here until Thursday morning. One
day I want to take a trip up to Waterton Lakes Park in Canada. But I
need to get in touch with the Credit Union so they don't block my
cards in I use them in Canada before I told them I'd be there. That
means finding cell service with T-Mobile. Not an easy task here.
